Behind every sublime performance lasting only a few minutes on stage is a journey of months of diligent practice, characterized by the perseverance and tireless effort of the contestants. After more than four months of vibrant implementation, the piano talent search competition "Vietnam's Piano Got Talent 2026" officially took place at the Khanh Hoa Children's Cultural Palace. This meaningful artistic playground is not only an opportunity for young people to showcase their talents but also a chance to interact, learn, and continue nurturing a deep passion for classical music.
The third season this year marks the largest scale to date, gathering over 1,000 contestants from many provinces and cities across the country to compete directly in the coastal city of Nha Trang. The competition received professional patronage from the Vietnam Musicians' Association, along with a prestigious jury panel consisting of leading professors, doctors, masters, and performing artists. A new feature of this year's program is the expansion of eligible contestants in both professional and amateur categories, creating the most favorable conditions for every young person passionate about the piano to have the opportunity to express themselves and access the playground on an equal basis.
Beyond the intense competition, the contest also moved people with stories of resilience, such as that of 16-year-old visually impaired contestant Mai Nguyen Khang from the Khanh Hoa delegation. Overcoming his visual limitations, Nguyen Khang completed his performance in the professional light music category with excellence, using focus and soulful piano playing, a testament to the magical power of music. Through the rounds, the young participants not only improved their performance skills but also received valuable professional feedback to refine themselves. The success of the season not only brings a unique cultural highlight to Khanh Hoa during the summer tourism season but also affirms its position as a solid launching pad to help young musical talents reach further in the future.
