On the morning of August 4, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural Center opened a training class on "Directing Skills for Mass Cultural and Artistic Programs and Visual Propaganda and Agitation Work" in 2026. Attending the opening ceremony were Mrs. Thai Thi Le Hang - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural Center, lecturers, and trainees of the training course.

The training class is held from August 4 to 9 with the participation of 95 trainees who are officials, public employees, and civil servants working in culture, propaganda, and mass art movements at departments, sectors, mass organizations, communes, and wards; officers in charge of propaganda and training at academies and armed forces units in the province; collaborators, singers, actors, musicians, directors, and key members of mass art groups currently active in teams, groups, clubs, art units, and cultural centers in the province.
Teaching at the training class include Dr. Trinh Dang Khoa - Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture and painter Nguyen Cong Quang - Member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, former Head of the Department of Management of Advertising and Propaganda Activities, Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

In the program, trainees are trained in topics on visual propaganda and agitation work; editing, directing, and practicing directing mass cultural and artistic programs.
In particular, the topic on visual propaganda and agitation equips trainees with general knowledge about information and visual propaganda and agitation work in the current period; advantages, difficulties, and solutions to improve the quality of this work; forms of visual propaganda and agitation; principles and methods of designing propaganda messages, layout of slogans, banners, panels, and propaganda posters; principles of ceremonial decoration and some basic design software for practice.
The remaining topics help trainees grasp the concepts and types of cultural and artistic programs of the cultural institution system; methods of script editing; concepts, methods, and skills of directing mass cultural and artistic programs. Trainees also get to directly practice directing and present the mass cultural and artistic programs they have built.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Thai Thi Le Hang commended the Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural Center for organizing the training class to improve the quality of mass cultural and artistic programs and visual propaganda and agitation work, and commended the trainees' spirit of registering for the course. At the same time, she requested trainees to strictly comply with class rules and regulations, study seriously, ensure attendance, actively exchange and discuss to improve the quality of the training course; and effectively apply the knowledge imparted to practical work at the grassroots level.
