Inaugurated in 2014, Ninh Chu Bridge is a transportation structure connecting the two sides of the Dam Nai estuary area, facilitating travel, trade, and daily life for local residents. Over the years, the bridge has not only contributed to connecting coastal communities around the lagoon, but has also become a vantage point for viewing the distinctive landscape of the seaside countryside. From the bridge, the waters of Dam Nai stretch out before the eyes, fishing boats appear dotted across the lagoon, and continuous mountain ranges rise in the distance, creating a scene that is both expansive and tranquil.

Beyond its scenic value, Dam Nai is also closely tied to the lives and livelihoods of local people. For generations, many households have relied on aquatic resources from fishing and aquaculture. The lagoon is also a harbor for boats, intertwined with the familiar daily livelihoods of coastal residents. Spanning a natural area of approximately 12,000 hectares with a water storage capacity of around 24 million cubic meters, it serves as a habitat for about 320 aquatic species, including black tiger shrimp, swimming crabs, snails, and various fish species. The lagoon's ecosystem helps regulate flooding, balance groundwater resources, and provide aquatic resources to sustain local livelihoods.
