On the afternoon of June 18, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting regarding the plan for the live broadcast of the 2026 Nha Trang Sea Festival opening ceremony on VTV1 (Vietnam Television) on the evening of July 17. Also attending the meeting were Mr. Do Duc Hoang - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television; leaders of various departments and units under Vietnam Television; and leaders of several provincial departments, boards, and sectors.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien requested that the leaders of relevant agencies and units, as well as the consulting unit for the 2026 Nha Trang Sea Festival opening ceremony, take in the feedback from Vietnam Television leaders to make appropriate adjustments and additions. The common goal is to ensure that the opening ceremony, when aired on national television, is flawless, spectacular, and highly artistic. From now until the opening event of the 2026 Nha Trang Sea Festival, provincial agencies, units, and the consulting firm must maintain close connection and coordination with Vietnam Television to implement preparations in the best possible way. Mr. Nguyen Long Bien agreed to adjust the duration of the opening ceremony's formal segment and the length of speeches by leaders to suit the nature of a live broadcast program.
