Recently, at FLC Golf Links Sam Son, the 5th Central and Central Highlands Provinces Golf Association Championship 2026 took place.
The tournament brought together more than 250 golfers from the men's and women's teams of 11 golf associations across the Central and Central Highlands regions, including: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, and Khanh Hoa. In the tournament, the athletes competed in two events: men's team and women's team.

Participating in the tournament, Khanh Hoa Golf Association fielded 26 athletes competing in both events. As a result in the women's competition, the women's team of Khanh Hoa Golf Association excellently clinched the championship title; the runner-up was the Da Nang Golf Association team, and the third-place finisher was the Thanh Hoa Golf Association team.
The tournament was patronized by the Vietnam Golf Association and jointly hosted by the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa Province and the Thanh Hoa Golf Association. The purpose of the tournament was to create a platform for exchange, strengthen solidarity and friendship, and enhance the technical skills of members from regional golf associations, thereby contributing to promoting investment cooperation and showcasing the tourism image of Thanh Hoa.
