On the afternoon of August 20, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province chaired a meeting to hear reports on the preparation for organizing activities of the final round of the 73rd Miss World 2026 pageant in Khanh Hoa province. Attending the meeting were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of relevant departments, boards, sectors, and units.

Reporting at the meeting, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that contents related to state management of the pageant are being implemented according to the assignment plan among departments, sectors, localities, and relevant units. In particular, the department continues to act as the focal point to monitor and synthesize progress; coordinate to review the content, script, time, location, and scale of each program; and at the same time inspect conditions regarding culture, advertising, information and communications, art performances, and tourism. The venues are completing the review of facilities, electricity, water, fire prevention and fighting, sanitation, and operation plans, ensuring service for activities according to their functions. The organizing unit is finalizing specific programs for each activity.

According to the plan, the final round of Miss World 2026 will take place in Khanh Hoa from August 20 to September 5. In particular, the final night is expected to be held on September 5 at April 2 Square, Nha Trang ward. Within the framework of the pageant, many activities will take place such as: Gala Dinner and Head to Head challenge; program to promote Khanh Hoa culture and tourism; Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest; charity gift-giving activities; 'Hello Vietnam - Hello World' program. Currently, ticket distribution, stage completion, equipment, logistics, and scheduling for contestants are being implemented, ensuring activities take place on schedule.

Speaking in conclusion of the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien agreed on the policy of organizing a National Day art program on the evening of September 2 before the 'Hello Vietnam - Hello World' program; organizing 3 experiential sightseeing routes to promote tourist destinations in the province on August 23; installing LED screens at April 16 Square (Dong Hai ward) for local people to watch the program.
He requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to lead the review and appraisal of all contents and scripts of programs within the framework of the pageant, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese fine customs and cultural identity; Sen Vang Company to urgently complete the organization, work directly with departments, sectors, and localities to implement each activity in detail; provide locations and detailed schedules of the delegation to have plans to ensure security and order; step up propaganda and promotion of the pageant. In addition, focus on ensuring traffic safety, health, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental sanitation so that the pageant takes place safely, professionally, and on schedule, contributing to promoting the image of Khanh Hoa province.
