With only a few days left, the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 will officially open. At this point, the organizing committee and relevant units are urgently completing the final preparation stages, ready to bring residents and tourists an incredibly vibrant and attractive sea festival season. At the 2/4 Square area, the atmosphere is bustling with construction activity. The main stage for the opening ceremony is of a magnificent scale, measuring 130 meters by 60 meters, with a capacity of over 11,000 spectators. The installation of structural, artistic, sound, and lighting components has reached approximately 80%, ensuring the schedule for the opening night is met.
With the highly anticipated theme "Ocean Colors - Reaching International Heights," this year's Sea Festival will feature over 40 cultural, artistic, sporting, and tourism activities throughout the event. Key highlight events include the "Flavors of the Sea City" food festival, the "Summer Melodies" program, the carnival, the tourist float parade, and the international music gala night. The music for the main performances has been finalized, allowing choreographers to quickly stage routines for over 200 professional performers currently training intensively in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Additionally, over 1,200 participants in the parade along with 10 magnificently decorated floats promise to create an impressive flow of color by Nha Trang Bay.
Not just a festival of the sea, the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 is also a meaningful occasion for the "Land of Agarwood" to showcase its cultural values, its people, and its strong aspiration to rise in a new phase of development. This year's event is all the more special as it is linked to the province's anniversary celebration and the preliminary review of the two-level local government, marking the beginning of a brilliant summer. To best prepare for the expected 600,000 to 800,000 visitors, logistics, reception, accommodation, traffic diversion, and especially food safety and hygiene at food stalls are being strictly monitored and trained for.
