On the afternoon of June 22, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a press conference for the 2026 Nha Trang Sea Festival. Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Permanent Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and Ms. Thai Thi Le Hang - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, presided over the meeting. Attendees included leaders of provincial departments, agencies, local authorities, businesses, and reporters and journalists from various media outlets in the province.

At the press conference, representatives of the 2026 Nha Trang Sea Festival Organizing Committee provided information on key aspects of the event. Accordingly, the 2026 Nha Trang Sea Festival will be held under the theme “Ocean Colors - Reaching Internationally,” officially taking place from July 17 to 19. In addition, there will be a series of supporting activities occurring from July 10 through August 10 at 2/4 Square (Nha Trang City) and many other locations throughout the province. The 2026 Nha Trang Sea Festival features over 40 cultural, artistic, sports, tourism, and special events, expected to attract approximately 600,000 to 800,000 domestic and international visitors.

Key events include: The Opening Ceremony at 8:00 PM on July 17 at 2/4 Square; the Carnival and Float Parade at 5:00 PM on July 18 on Tran Phu Street; and the Closing Ceremony combined with the “Unite the Continents” grand music festival at 8:00 PM on July 19 at 2/4 Square. Exciting and engaging supporting activities across culture, cuisine, art, sports, and tourism include: the Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest Festival; the “Flavors of the Seaside City - Summer Melodies” program; the Vietnam Ao Dai Festival; the 2026 Khanh Hoa Agricultural Products, OCOP, and Local Products Week; the Lam Son Fruit Festival; various exhibitions, street art performances, and kite flying; the 2026 VPS Cup International Sailing Race; and sports tournaments such as trail running, golf, and beach soccer.

At the press conference, representatives from several media outlets expressed interest in issues such as: meeting accommodation demand for tourists during the event; ensuring security, social order, food safety, and price stability for lodging and dining services; tourism promotion and attraction activities; new and notable features in the scripts for the main events of the 2026 Nha Trang Sea Festival; traffic regulation to minimize congestion; and support for reporters and journalists covering the event.
