On the evening of September 19, at the Sports Center Gymnasium of Nha Trang University, the Khanh Hoa Karatedo Association held the opening ceremony of the 6th Khanh Hoa Provincial Clubs Youth and Children Karate Championship 2026.

This tournament attracted more than 380 male and female martial artists from 29 karate clubs across communes, wards, units, and schools throughout the province. Competitors competed in individual and team events in kata (forms) and kumite (sparring), divided into 4 age groups (from 8 to 14 years old) and 17 weight categories (from 30kg to over 60kg), competing for 50 sets of medals.

It is reported that the Khanh Hoa Provincial Clubs Youth and Children Karate Championship was organized to celebrate the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Sports Games 2026, leading up to the 10th National Sports Games 2026. The tournament aims to provide opportunities for clubs and martial artists to exchange, compete, and improve their technical skills; thereby fostering the growth of the karate movement among youths and children across the province. The tournament concluded on September 20.
