In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, emphasized that the ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) is not only a traditional garment but also a cultural symbol, honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women and evoking national pride, love for the homeland, and roots. This year marks the 5th time the Provincial Women's Union has organized the Ao Dai Festival. Each year, the festival changes in content and form to make the program richer and more diverse, from a walking parade and setting a Vietnamese record for the largest ao dai parade to the image of the ao dai associated with rickshaws. This time, that traditional beauty is uniquely blended with the bicycle – a familiar means of transportation, linked to countless youthful memories of the Vietnamese people. The combination of the ao dai and bicycle in the festival is not simply a recreation of old-fashioned beauty, but also carries powerful contemporary messages. It is about honoring cultural and historical values; spreading the message of a green lifestyle and promoting the friendly image of Khanh Hoa tourism. The organizers hope that, after this event, the image of the ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) and the habit of using bicycles for daily activities will continue to be popularized, becoming a beautiful everyday feature in socio-cultural life.

At the event, female officials and members showcased two ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) collections, "Waves" and "Vietnam in Brocade," interspersed with artistic performances by artists, singers, and actors from the Provincial Traditional Arts Theater. The harmonious blend of music, ao dai, and graceful catwalks created an emotionally rich artistic atmosphere, honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women. The "Waves" collection recreated the vibrant and expansive spirit of the sea, symbolizing the gentle yet strong and resilient beauty of Vietnamese women. The "Vietnam in Brocade" collection, like a radiant brocade painting, celebrated the elegant and graceful beauty along with the age-old cultural values of the nation, contributing to spreading pride in Vietnamese identity through the ao dai.

Following the performance, a large number of members and women in traditional ao dai dresses participated in a bicycle parade along Tran Phu Street, creating a vibrant and colorful scene in the heart of the coastal city. The image of these graceful women in flowing ao dai dresses on bicycles not only celebrates the elegant beauty of Vietnamese women but also conveys a message about a green lifestyle, encouraging the use of environmentally friendly means of transportation, contributing to building a civilized city and developing sustainable tourism.

In addition, female officials and members performed two folk dances, "Khanh Hoa Welcomes the New Day" and "Vietnam on a Glorious Day," creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The program also featured many special artistic performances by the Provincial Traditional Arts Theater.
