On the afternoon of August 18, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa Province, in collaboration with PDA & Partners, held the opening ceremony of the photography exhibition “Khanh Hoa - The Journey of Four Bays”, associated with the announcement of the new positioning for the Khanh Hoa destination brand. Attending the opening ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, boards, sectors, and localities; photographers, along with a large number of residents and tourists.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien affirmed that building and introducing the image of “Khanh Hoa - The Journey of Four Bays” is an approach to systematically introduce the values of the province's landscape, culture, people, and life; while contributing to connecting tourism spaces, step by step forming tourism products and itineraries in line with the province's development orientation. This is also one of the specific activities contributing to the implementation of the province's guidelines and orientations on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector in the 2026 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2045. Khanh Hoa province hopes that from this exhibition, it will step by step build, supplement, and effectively exploit the source of local image materials, serving propaganda, promotion, tourism promotion, cultural exchange, and destination communication.

In the coming time, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien requested state management agencies, localities, the tourism business community, artists, photographers, press and media agencies, and organizations and individuals to continue to coordinate and participate in promoting and introducing the unique values of Khanh Hoa. At the same time, research and exploit the values introduced at the exhibition to form appropriate cultural and tourism products, programs, and activities, contributing to improving the quality and attractiveness of the destination.

The photography exhibition “Khanh Hoa - The Journey of Four Bays” introduces 40 works by 8 photographers: Ly Hoang Long, Khanh Phan, Tuan Nguyen, Hai Piano, Quan Shotgun, Pham Hung, Mai Hoang Kien Kha, and Thien Nguyen. Through the journey connecting the 4 bays of Nha Trang, Cam Ranh, Van Phong, and Vinh Hy, the works introduce the unique features of natural landscapes, seas and islands, marine culture, community life, heritage, and biodiversity of Khanh Hoa. Thereby, the exhibition contributes to promoting the image of Khanh Hoa to residents and tourists; while spreading awareness of preserving and promoting natural and cultural values associated with sustainable tourism development.

Through the positioning of “Khanh Hoa - The Journey of Four Bays”, the province aims to connect the strengths of each bay area, developing unique products and experiences in culture, art, sports, cuisine, and tourism; thereby increasing attractiveness and enhancing the position of Khanh Hoa tourism domestically and internationally. The exhibition is open for free to the public and tourists until September 25 at the Khanh Hoa Provincial Convention Center (No. 46 Tran Phu, Nha Trang Ward).

At the press conference, delegates, experts, reporters, and journalists also discussed the vision for destination development, the role of art, and the transformation of positioning into unique tourism products and experiences; thereby contributing to improving the recognition and promotion of Khanh Hoa's image and values to domestic and international tourists.
