Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized that the 2026 Vietnam Art Photo Contest and Exhibition is an occasion to review creative achievements, while also demonstrating the continuous evolution and renewal of Vietnamese photography in both content and expression methods. Artists have increasingly taken the initiative to explore new perspectives and approaches to create works of substantial content and artistic value, contributing to preserving, reflecting, and spreading beautiful images of Vietnam's land and people. The number of entries submitted this year is a testament to the interest, passion for the profession, and creative spirit of photographers. Therefore, the works featured in the exhibition are not merely the results of a contest; they are also slices of life captured by artists through their love, observation, and personal perceptions.
