On the morning of November 3, the People's Committee of Khanh Son Commune held the opening ceremony of the 1st Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2026. Participating in this year's Phu Dong Sports Festival were more than 200 athletes from two primary and lower secondary schools in the commune.

During the Phu Dong Sports Festival (from November 3 to 12), the athletes will compete in 5 sports, including: football, chess, badminton, swimming, and athletics.
The Phu Dong Sports Festival aims to select high-performing athletes to participate in the 1st cluster-level and provincial-level Phu Dong Sports Festival. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to commend the "Healthy for Study and Labor" movement in schools, contributing to boosting the campaign "All people exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho" across the commune.
