The project includes the following items: Building a new fence for the water pumping station; constructing railings along the concrete road on the embankment; tiling the earthen wall route and whitewashing, embellishing the citadel gates; building a road along the inner protection boundary; building mini-parks. In addition, it also restores and rehabilitates the earthen wall route; restores the moat; the back gate bridge and other bridges; the pumping station system, and the fire prevention and fighting water supply system.
During the project implementation, many items faced difficulties due to site clearance obstacles, while heavy rains and floods in November 2025 caused significant damage to equipment, machinery, materials on the construction site, and some items. The project investor has requested contractors to urgently mobilize equipment and machinery, focus on accelerating construction progress in areas where the site has been handed over; continue site clearance work and complete the project in 2026 as planned.
