The People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province has recently issued a plan to organize "Vietnam Cultural Day 2026" across the province. The plan is designed to create an extensive cultural and political movement, fostering patriotism and national pride, while promoting the image of Khanh Hoa's culture and people.

According to the plan, there will be numerous cultural, sports, and tourism activities in response to "Vietnam Cultural Day" 2026 during this period. In October and November, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will take the lead in coordinating the Khanh Hoa Cultural Heritage Knowledge Contest with 3 rounds in Phan Rang Ward, Do Vinh Ward, and Thuan Nam Commune. Promotional and communication activities regarding the Party's guidelines and directives, the State's policies and laws on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people; the outcomes of implementing Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo in the province; and the significance of Vietnam Cultural Day will also be strengthened.
Many distinctive art programs and exhibitions
In particular, this period will feature various art performances and exhibitions to honor the traditional culture of Vietnam and Khanh Hoa Province. Specifically, on the evening of November 22, the art program "Sounds of the Homeland" will take place at 16-4 Square (Dong Hai Ward), presenting two forms of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity recognized by UNESCO: the Art of Bai Choi in Central Vietnam and the Art of Don Ca Tai Tu in Southern Vietnam, along with singing trial experiences for locals and tourists. On November 24, at the Tram Huong Tower stage (Nha Trang Ward), an award ceremony for the New Songwriting Contest about Khanh Hoa and an art program announcing the winning works will be held. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province will lead the organization of the Mass Arts Festival celebrating the 96th anniversary of the Founding Day of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2026) in conjunction with the Great National Unity Day in residential communities.
In November, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Museum will organize the exhibition "Memories of Khanh Hoa Culture," presenting the history, heritage, and community life of the Khanh Hoa region, along with the thematic showcase "Echoes from the Earth," displaying typical archaeological documents and artifacts from the province. Also during this period, at the special national monuments of Po Nagar Cham Towers and Po Klong Garai Cham Towers, cultural heritage presentations will be featured, including: Cham traditional dance and musical instrument performances, Cham pottery making demonstrations, traditional craft booths, and more. At the Hon Chong - Hon Do scenic relic site, there will be ethnic musical instrument performances where visitors can try playing traditional instruments; the Provincial Museum will also introduce the folk knowledge heritage of Khanh Hoa agarwood. Specifically on November 24, historical and cultural relics managed by local authorities will open free of charge to welcome residents, tourists, pupils, and students.

Diverse responsive activities
From November 18 to 25, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural Center will organize a commemorative film screening series featuring outstanding feature films, documentaries, and animated films, opening at the Provincial Cultural Center (facility 2 in Phan Rang) with mobile screenings held across villages and residential quarters. From November 18 to 24, a Book Festival and cultural publication exhibition will be held at the Provincial Library, libraries of educational institutions, and the network of libraries and reading rooms across communes and wards. Tourist accommodation establishments in the area are also encouraged to organize traditional cultural experiences such as bamboo dancing, mandarin square capturing, to he figurine sculpting, calligraphy, and trying on the traditional ao dai, combined with promotional and discount programs serving visitors during the peak holiday period from November 19 to 25.
In addition to local activities, Khanh Hoa will also participate in programs organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, such as the communication campaign "Journey of Experiencing Vietnamese Culture 2026," the Large-scale Propaganda Poster Exhibition, the Art Painting and Photography Exhibition, the Central - Central Highlands Ethnic Traditional Costume Performance Festival, and the National Culture Conference 2026.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been assigned as the standing body to advise the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the plan, and to coordinate with relevant departments, branches, and localities for organization and execution, ensuring practicality, safety, and economy.
