The journey to Truong Sa and the DK1 platforms brought not only practical gifts from the mainland but also profound affection through the songs and voices of the artists. Working Group 15, during their recent visit to the military and people of Truong Sa, provided truly special and meaningful experiences. Artists from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Traditional Art Theater brought warm singing, filled with love for the islands and the sea, crossing countless waves and winds to reach the officers and soldiers stationed at the forefront of the sea.
The cultural exchange sessions between the working group and the officers and soldiers on the islands were always filled with emotion, becoming an invaluable spiritual nourishment for those serving in far-off lands. More remarkably, during days of harsh weather, when large waves prevented ships from docking, the artists did not lose heart. They conveyed their affection and solidarity by singing directly through the radio speaker system. Their unadorned voices blended with the roaring sea waves, building a simple yet sacred bridge, brimming with the bond between the military and the people amidst the vast ocean.
For the artists, every opportunity to stand and sing amidst the vast space of Truong Sa is a source of pride and a great honor in their artistic careers. It is not only a chance to contribute and bring joy and spiritual encouragement to help the soldiers stand firm in protecting sovereignty, but also an occasion for the artists themselves to feel more deeply the patriotism and responsibility they hold toward the islands and the homeland. The melodies about naval soldiers and love for the Fatherland, echoing amidst the vast waters, serve as a strong bond connecting the military and the people, fueling faith, willpower, and strength so that the military and people on remote islands can remain steadfast in clinging to the sea and safeguarding the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.
