With an expanded scale and more diverse content compared to the first edition, the 2nd World Culture Festival in Hanoi features 45 cultural spaces and 35 culinary stalls; a film screening program with 18 participating countries; a fashion space showcasing traditional costumes from 19 countries; and performances by 20 international art troupes. The festival offers a rich array of activities ranging from exhibitions, performances, culinary experiences, cinema, and fashion to music and interactive cultural experiences.
Within the framework of the festival, the “Spreading Creativity from Heritage - International Festival Games” area introduces an experiential space connecting historical and cultural values with technology and creative industries. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism collaborates with Vietnamese enterprises to introduce, release, and operate video games inspired by Vietnamese history and culture. Through this, the public has the opportunity to experience and discover heritage through modern interactive formats, cosplay performances, dance routines from the Audition game, and LED screen effects.
Through the fusion of heritage and creativity, tradition and contemporaneity, Vietnam and the world, the 2nd World Culture Festival in Hanoi aims to create an open cultural space where diverse cultures converge, interact, and share. Thereby, it contributes to promoting Vietnam's heritage, artistic, and creative values while strengthening international cultural exchange.
