From August 15 to 17, Khanh Hoa province organizes the Khanh Hoa Culture and Tourism Day event in Quang Tri in 2026 with the theme "Quang Tri - Khanh Hoa: From the land of fire flowers to the green pearl bay". The event aims to promote culture, tourism, connect businesses, and expand cooperation between the two localities.
The program includes many activities: Exhibition space for tourism products, local specialties, and OCOP products; an art program at Regal walking street; a conference to sign the cooperation program for cultural, sports, and tourism development between the two provinces; a famtrip delegation surveying tourist areas and destinations in Quang Tri. Notably, on the afternoon of August 16, a ceremony welcoming the first flight of Sun PhuQuoc Airways from Dong Hoi Airport to Cam Ranh International Airport will take place.
At Regal walking street (Dong Hoi ward), from the afternoon of August 15, the exhibition space for tourism products, cuisine, local specialties, and OCOP products of Khanh Hoa with 60 booths was completed. The space also introduces 100 photos of nature, people, cultural identity, and destinations of Khanh Hoa, attracting a large number of tourists and residents of Dong Hoi ward to visit and enjoy Khanh Hoa's specialty products.
On the evening of the same day, the Traditional Art Theater of Khanh Hoa Province performed an art program themed "To the Land of Heritage", with singing and dancing performances: "On the Land of Sunny Towers", "Ho Ra Khoi" (Chant of Going to Sea), "Love's Waterfront", "Wonderful Summer", "Golden Sun, Blue Sea and You", "Khanh Hoa Welcomes a New Day"... along with dance performances and instrumental ensembles imbued with the traditional cultural identity of Khanh Hoa.

Also on August 15, the famtrip delegation of Khanh Hoa's tourism industry surveyed many famous historical relic sites of Quang Tri such as: Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, Hien Luong Bridge - Ben Hai River, Vinh Moc Tunnels, Phong Nha Cave...; while also learning about the local accommodation system.
