A cinematic experience in the heart of the Tran Phu tourism district
LOTTE Cinema Tran Phu boasts a major advantage in terms of location. From many beachfront hotels, you can walk or take a short trip to reach the theater without leaving the central tourist area.
The cinema complex is mid-sized with four screening rooms, suitable for tourists looking for a comfortable entertainment space not far from their accommodation. New film schedules are updated regularly, including Vietnamese films, Hollywood blockbusters, animated movies, and various Asian works.
The lobby space features a modern style, including the ticketing area, concession stand, and waiting area. Having the cinema inside a shopping center also makes it easy to combine movie-going with dining, shopping, or relaxing in one location. Vincom Plaza Tran Phu currently offers restaurants, fashion stores, play areas, and various amenities such as ATMs, free Wi-Fi, escalators, information desks, and restrooms for people with disabilities.
How to get to the theater and parking?
Motorbike riders can park in the building's B2 basement, with the entrance located on Tran Phu Street. The LOTTE Cinema guide page notes the motorbike parking fee is 3,000 VND per visit; this fee may be adjusted by the building, so please check the posted signs in the basement.
For cars, it is recommended to follow the Vincom signage or speak with the security guard at the entrance, as parking availability and fees may vary depending on the time. During weekends and peak tourist seasons, the Tran Phu area is quite busy, so taxis or ride-hailing services are often more convenient.
Guests staying near the central beach can walk to the theater. However, for screenings that end after Vincom's regular closing time, please check with staff beforehand regarding the exit for late-night moviegoers.
Suggested itinerary ideas
LOTTE Cinema Tran Phu is a great addition to a half-day or evening itinerary:
You can swim or stroll through Phu Dong Park in the afternoon, dine in the Tran Phu area, and then choose a screening starting around 19:00. After the movie, the coastal road still has plenty of convenience stores, eateries, and spots to stop and rest.
The theater is also a viable option when it rains heavily or the sun is too harsh in Nha Trang, or when families need an indoor activity for children.
Tips for movie-going
It is recommended to arrive about 15–20 minutes before the showtime to collect tickets, buy snacks, and find your theater room. LOTTE Cinema notes that the actual film start time may be delayed by about 15 minutes due to commercials and trailers.
Students, individuals under 22, or those purchasing discounted tickets should carry appropriate identification. For films classified as T13, T16, or T18, staff may request documents to verify age.
