Libera Nha Trang: A sports destination linked with tourism experiences
In sports tourism, the appeal of a destination lies not only in the racecourse but also in pre- and post-race experiences. A scenic route attracts runners, while accommodation, culinary, and arts services provide further incentives for them and their loved ones to stay longer and explore the locality.
Spanning 44 hectares, the Libera Nha Trang resort-urban complex is located on Pham Van Dong Street, connecting with the northern coastal route of Nha Trang. The bay landscape, public spaces, and resort, culinary, and arts amenities enable the race journey to be seamlessly tied to the destination experience.
Notably, this is not the first time Libera Nha Trang has engaged with the running community. In June 2024, Libera Fun Fest was held at the complex, featuring a 3.5 km family run with approximately 4,500 participants. The team-based competition format, combined with music, culinary, and arts activities, created an active festival for multiple generations.

In August 2025, VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang brought together approximately 13,000 athletes, making it the largest race in the system at that time. By March 2026, the Libera Nha Trang area continued to be linked with the 21.1 km and 42.2 km courses of the 67th Tien Phong Newspaper National Marathon Championship.

From family runs to large-scale races, these activities demonstrate Libera's connection with the sports and fitness community. "Nha Trang Night Run Sanest, Sanvinest - BKH 2026" continues that journey in the nighttime seaside atmosphere, while opening up more options for athletes to combine competition with a family getaway.
Before or after the race, runners and their loved ones and friends can stroll along the beach, enjoy cuisine, explore art at Do Theatre, or spend leisure time at Villa Le Corail, A Gran Meliá Hotel and Meliá Aurea Nha Trang within the Libera Nha Trang complex. A night run can thus extend into a journey of sea, gastronomy, art, and relaxation: runners have more time to unwind after conquering their goals, while their companions share memorable experiences by Nha Trang Bay. This is also a further step affirming Vega City's capability in connecting sports events with existing tourism services in Nha Trang, helping reinforce the appeal of a sports tourism destination in the South Central Coast.
