In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, Comrade Lam Dong, along with comrades from the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and delegations from localities laid wreaths at the July 16th Monument and observed a minute of silence in commemoration of the traditional revolutionary struggle of the Party Committee and people of the province.
Ninety-six years ago, when our homeland was still shrouded in the darkness of slavery, our people lived in misery and suffering under the brutal rule of colonialism and feudalism. Under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the July 16, 1930, demonstration by the people of Tan Dinh district (formerly) was victorious, dealing a surprising blow to the colonial and feudal rule. This glorious milestone marked the development of the revolutionary movement in the province, opening a new period of struggle for the Party Committee and people of Khanh Hoa province. With this immense historical significance, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have decided to designate July 16th as the annual Traditional Day of Revolutionary Struggle of the Party Committee and People of Khanh Hoa Province.
