On September 25, comrade Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, presided over a meeting to hear a report on the growth situation of the Culture, Sports, and Tourism sector.

To promote sustainable tourism growth, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is developing a plan to develop the international tourist market for the 2026 - 2030 period; carrying out promotion and advertising activities and coordinating to develop international flight routes to Cam Ranh International Airport, contributing to expanding Khanh Hoa's connectivity with key international tourist markets.
The sector will also advise on formulating a project to develop community-based tourism in Khanh Hoa Province for the 2026 - 2030 period; advise on drafting a Resolution of the Provincial People's Council stipulating policies to support community-based tourism development in Khanh Hoa Province for the 2026 - 2030 period. In addition, it will submit the dossier for the recognition of the Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula National Tourism Area; organize an international workshop on cruise tourism and a workshop on nighttime economy development; continue implementing the Khanh Hoa Provincial Green Tourism Standards; and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for decisions recognizing establishments meeting Khanh Hoa Province's green tourism standards...
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien highly appreciated the tourism development results in the first 9 months of 2026. Regarding tasks for the fourth quarter of 2026, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien requested the Culture, Sports, and Tourism sector to continue closely following growth targets, synchronously implement solutions to promote tourism development, and contribute to the province's double-digit economic growth target. In particular, the sector needs to focus on organizing large-scale cultural and entertainment programs and events to stimulate tourism demand, such as the Indian billionaire's wedding at the Vinpearl tourism complex on Hon Tre Island, the 2027 New Year celebration program, etc.; proactively prepare conditions to anticipate the wave of Chinese tourists; and coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to develop plans to organize large-scale trade fairs to increase appeal to tourists.
Along with that, the sector should advise the Provincial People's Committee on organizing a dialogue conference with tourism businesses; a cruise tourism forum; a Halal tourism workshop; and working with Cam Ranh International Airport, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, and related units to improve the quality of welcoming and serving tourists, contributing to the sustainable development of tourism.
