| Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien chaired the meeting. |
According to the report from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 (from July 17 to 19) attracted 787,500 visitor arrivals, including about 50,000 international visitors. Tourism revenue was estimated at over 1,300 billion VND. The provincial hotel occupancy rate reached over 85%, with 4- to 5-star hotels and resorts in particular exceeding 90%. However, concentrating the event over just a few days has not fully maximized the festival's brand value, as promotional effectiveness was mostly concentrated during the festival period. Furthermore, following the expansion of administrative boundaries from July 1, 2025, the province possesses more cultural and tourism resources that need to be exploited in an integrated manner.

| Ms. Thai Thi Le Hang - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the conceptual framework for organizing Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2027. |
On that basis, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed innovating Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2027 into a four-season model under the tentative overarching theme "Four Seasons of Connection - Total Faith". Each season will feature its own theme and highlights while sharing the same brand identity and communication strategy, including: Spring (January - March) themed "Spring Welcoming Sea Blessings"; Summer (April - June) themed "The Sea Calls for a Joyful Summer"; Autumn (July - September) themed "Golden Autumn, Sweet Fruits"; Winter (October - December) themed "Warm Winter, Bright Future". This model is expected to contribute to building Khanh Hoa into a four-season destination, extending visitors' length of stay, and enhancing the economic value of the tourism sector.
Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien agreed in principle to organize Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2027 throughout the year. He requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promptly develop a comprehensive list of activities for each season, which should include studying the organization of an international-scale event in the southern area of the province (potentially developed from the Grape and Wine Festival of the former Ninh Thuan province). Each quarter should select one signature festival or highlight activity, ensuring consistency with the overall theme of Sea Festival 2027.
