On May 14, 2026, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a plan to organize the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 with the theme "Ocean Colors - Reaching Out Internationally".
The Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 will be organized on a national scale, with the participation of various central ministries, branches, domestic provinces and cities, and international localities that have diplomatic cooperation relations with Khanh Hoa.
The event is expected to feature nearly 30 prominent activities and programs aimed at promoting the image of local culture and marine tourism, while simultaneously creating a highlight to attract domestic and international tourists.
According to the plan, the opening ceremony will be held on the evening of July 17. On the afternoon of July 18, a Carnival parade with the theme "Nha Trang Sea Flowers" will take place on Tran Phu Street, gathering about 2,000 participants along with many colorful tourism floats. On the same day, the grand finale of Supermodel and Mister Vietnam 2026, combined with fashion and music performances under the theme "Runway to the World", will also be held.
The closing ceremony and the international grand concert connecting the five continents with the theme "Khanh Hoa, Embracing Friends from Five Continents" will take place on the evening of July 19.
In addition to the main programs, the Festival will also include many cultural, sports, tourism, and commercial activities such as an international seminar on cruise tourism development in Khanh Hoa; the Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest Culture and Culinary Festival; the Khanh Hoa Sailing Regatta 2026; the Vietnam Ao Dai Festival; and a week for agricultural products and OCOP products of the province.
Furthermore, there will be a trade, culture, and culinary fair titled "Taste of the Sea City - Summer Melodies"; a Giant Kite Festival; street art performance activities; the Lam Son - Khanh Hoa Fruit Festival 2026; and an art photography exhibition titled "Colors of Khanh Hoa Marine Culture and Tourism 2026".
Additionally, the Festival will host activities for displaying and practicing the cultural heritage of Bau Truc pottery and My Nghiep weaving, practicing the national intangible cultural heritage of Khanh Hoa Agarwood, as well as programs for tourism stimulation and connecting domestic and international businesses.
It is expected that the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 will attract approximately 600,000 to 800,000 residents and visitors.
