On the afternoon of September 7, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to hear a report on the exhibition plan at Truong Sa Museum. Attending the meeting were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism along with relevant departments, boards, and sectors.

According to the decision approving the Truong Sa Museum Construction Project by the Provincial People's Committee, the museum's exhibition content is developed around 5 main themes: Diverse and Abundant Nature; Truong Sa - Strategic Stature; Truong Sa in History; Truong Sa Vitality; Truong Sa - The Country's Marine Economic, Cultural, and Social Center; in addition to an introduction and a conclusion. Alongside the indoor exhibition area, the project also includes the Truong Sa Museum park area connected with the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial.
Reporting at the meeting, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism stated that regarding the collection of documents and artifacts, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Museum surveyed and cataloged 1,154 lists of documents and artifacts; of which 426 lists have been handed over by units, while 728 lists have not yet been transferred. The Department recommended that the Steering Committee of the Truong Sa Museum Construction Project continue issuing official requests to organizations and individuals currently holding these documents to transfer them to the province to serve research and exhibition design work.
The leadership of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also proposed that the Provincial People's Committee approve the policy to concurrently implement two component projects: the "Research and collection of documents and artifacts for Truong Sa Museum exhibition" project and the "Research and development of museum exhibition content" project, while also proposing to sign a contract with the Institute of Monument Conservation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) as the consulting unit.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ha emphasized that Truong Sa Museum is a national-scale project, and the displayed documents and artifacts must be of significant value. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ha assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to advise on a plan and an open letter for the province to launch and call upon domestic and international organizations and individuals to donate artifacts and documents to Truong Sa Museum; and to step up communication so that the community gains a deeper understanding of the significance of building Truong Sa Museum, thereby actively donating artifacts to the museum.
At the same time, the department must promptly finalize the draft of the project "Research and collection of documents and artifacts for Truong Sa Museum exhibition" to solicit opinions from relevant departments and sectors; search for qualified consulting units to implement the projects "Research and development of museum exhibition content" and "Design and execution of museum exhibitions". In addition, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism should promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee on consolidating the Steering Committee of the Truong Sa Museum Construction Project and the Museum Construction Advisory Council.
Previously, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee commenced construction of the Truong Sa Museum project with an area of more than 1.7 ha in Cam Lam commune, with a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND sponsored by Vinhomes Joint Stock Company. Once completed, Truong Sa Museum connected with the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial will be a complex affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Truong Sa Archipelago, demonstrating persistent determination in protecting and preserving the sacred territory of the Fatherland, as well as a monument honoring generations of ancestors who sacrificed for sea and island sovereignty.
