Implementation of the Project to Promote Grassroots Cultural Movements and Activities, with People as the Center

On July 30, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to implement the Project "Promoting grassroots cultural movements and activities, with people as the center" for the period 2026 - 2030 in Khanh Hoa province. The project was issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on June 19.

The plan aims to synchronously and effectively implement the goals, tasks, and solutions to concretize the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people in the new situation. Along with that, promote the role of the People as subjects in creating, participating in management, organizing, and enjoying cultural activities. By 2030, in the delta region, strive for 95% of households to be recognized and maintain the title of Cultural Family; 95% of villages and residential groups to be recognized and maintain the title of Cultural Village or Residential Group; 100% of residential areas to build and effectively implement the model of Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful Residential Area. For ethnic minority, mountainous, and island areas, strive for 90% of households to be recognized and maintain the title of Cultural Family; 85% of villages to be recognized as Cultural Village; 70% of residential areas to build and effectively implement the model of Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful Residential Area. Improve the effectiveness of physical training and sports movements, attracting a large number of people to participate in sports practice. Promote cultural activities in a practical and flexible direction, with grassroots areas and people as the center.

The Provincial People's Committee also outlined 3 groups of tasks and solutions to effectively implement the content of the plan. In addition, clearly assign tasks to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in organizing the implementation of the plan; guide, urge, inspect, and monitor implementation at agencies, units, and localities. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is also primarily responsible for implementing tasks in the fields of grassroots culture, family, libraries, propaganda and mobilization, mass arts, the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" and other tasks within its management scope.
