The Provincial Border Guard has been assigned the primary responsibility of ensuring security and safety across the water surface and maritime areas where the festival's activities take place. Identifying this as a particularly important political task, all border guard stations and squadrons have been instructed to increase their on-duty personnel. The units are maintaining permanent vessel crews equipped with full military gear, logistics, and technical support, ready to deploy instantly for search and rescue operations and to handle any arising situations at sea.
Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station intensifies patrols to ensure the safety of Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 activities.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Anh Tu, Commander of the Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station, stated that the unit has formulated specific plans, deployed personnel and vehicles, and closely coordinated with competent authorities to control and regulate tourist boats. The unit has also surveyed waterways, routed maritime traffic, and established safety zones dedicated to the art performances on the sea.
Specifically, during the opening night (July 17) and closing night (July 19), task forces will set up checkpoints to strictly prevent fishing boats and unauthorized vessels from entering the festival area. Concurrently, mobile forces will be maintained to promptly handle any situations affecting security and order, ensuring absolute safety for delegates, locals, and tourists.
With a high spirit of proactivity, responsibility, and determination, the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard are stationed around the clock on land and at sea, fully prepared to execute all designated plans effectively.
