Highlights of the cultural festival
On November 24, the April 2 Square area and the coastal park opposite Tue Tinh Street (Nha Trang Ward) will serve as the shared space for the series of activities “Imprints of Vietnamese Culture - Colors of Khanh Hoa”, running from morning until night. The festival begins at 6:30 a.m. with seaside dancesport steps. From 3:00 p.m., public contingents will march on foot from the Provincial Library and the coastal park opposite Tue Tinh Street (2 groups) to April 2 Square. The afternoon will continue with art exchanges and community performances.
At exactly 7:00 p.m., the Vietnam Cultural Day celebration program organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will take place at April 2 Square. This is an occasion for the province to receive the inscription of “Practices of Thien Y A Na/Po Inu Nagar Mother Goddess Worship” onto the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. The festival night will also feature a launching ceremony for donations of documents and artifacts to the Truong Sa Museum and the award ceremony of the New Songwriting Contest about Khanh Hoa. At the end of the program, the audience will enjoy newly composed works about the homeland.
To make the festival truly belong to the people, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested localities to proactively organize response activities right at the grassroots level. Through this, each person can directly participate in, create, and enjoy cultural values. From November 18 to 24, agencies and units will fly the National Flag and use the Vietnam Culture Day visual identity. Information about the events is updated on the Vietnam Cultural Digital Map Platform, helping residents and tourists easily find them.
