Accordingly, interested organizations and individuals can continue to submit registration dossiers, ideas, design drawings, and sample products to the Organizing Committee in accordance with the competition rules. For dossiers and entries that were validly received prior to the extension, the Organizing Committee will continue to record them for the competition without requiring authors to resubmit. In case there is a need to supplement, modify, or finalize dossiers and entries, authors may do so during the extension period, ensuring compliance with the issued rules.
The 2026 "Cham Pottery Product Design" competition is being implemented by the Provincial People's Committee under Plan No. 10683/KH-UBND dated August 24, 2026, associated with the implementation of the National Action Program for safeguarding and promoting the values of the intangible cultural heritage "Art of pottery-making of the Cham people" and the Project on managing, protecting, and promoting the values of the heritage for the 2025–2028 period and subsequent years.
Through the competition, the province aims to encourage creative ideas grounded in the techniques and traditional cultural values of the Cham pottery craft; at the same time, it seeks designs with aesthetic value, practicality, and the potential to be developed into products serving daily life, tourism, gifts, and the consumer market. This is also an opportunity to connect authors with artisans, cooperatives, and Bau Truc Cham pottery production facilities, contributing to bringing design ideas into actual production.

After the submission deadline closes on November 25, the Organizing Committee will check entry validity, compile and code the entries, and conduct preliminary judging over two days, November 26 and 27. The results of the preliminary round are scheduled to be announced on November 27. Authors whose works are selected for the final round will have time to finalize their products from November 30 until the end of December 8.
For authors in need, the Organizing Committee will coordinate with the Ninh Phuoc Commune People's Committee, artisans, cooperatives, and Bau Truc Cham pottery production establishments to support the crafting process. Completed products entering the final round must be submitted to the Organizing Committee no later than December 8. The final judging and selection of winning entries are scheduled to take place from December 10 to 11.
Entries selected for the final round and winning works will be introduced and promoted on mass media and digital platforms between December 12 and 14.
The wrap-up, results announcement, and award ceremony of the contest is scheduled to be held on December 15.
The Provincial People's Committee requested that Ninh Phuoc commune continue mobilizing local artisans, craftspeople, production households, cooperatives, and organizations and individuals operating in traditional pottery production to actively participate in the contest.
The 2026 “Cham People's Pottery Product Design” contest is expected to create more favorable conditions for the craft-making community, creators, and interested individuals to engage in creative work, contributing to preserving and transmitting traditional techniques and promoting the value of the intangible cultural heritage “Art of pottery-making of Cham people”.
