After three days of exciting events with diverse activities, the festival created a vibrant cultural space steeped in identity, leaving a good impression on local people and tourists. This was not only an occasion to honor the traditional pottery craft and unique pottery-making art of the Cham people, but also contributed to promoting cultural heritage, strengthening solidarity, and introducing the cultural beauty of the Cham ethnic group to visitors from near and far.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, leaders of the People's Committee of Ninh Phuoc commune emphasized that cultural heritage preservation must be closely linked with promoting the heritage's values within the community; helping local people make a living from the craft, artisans continue to pass on knowledge, and the younger generation take pride in carrying on their ancestors' traditions.
In the coming time, Ninh Phuoc commune will continue to focus on preserving the cultural space of craft villages, protecting raw material sources, and investing in infrastructure; developing display, experiential, and product promotional activities; and linking the Bau Truc pottery craft with the development of cultural and community tourism, gradually promoting heritage values and creating momentum to drive sustainable socio-economic development.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced and presented awards for the competitions within the festival framework. In the Cham Pottery Making Skills Contest, first prizes across the age groups went respectively to contestants: Dang Thi Tuong (aged 25 - 40), Truong Thi Nang (aged 41 - 60), and Chau Thi Co (aged 61 and above).
