At the festival, provincial and company leaders held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the merits of the pioneers and ancestors of the bird's nest trade. These include Naval Admiral Le Van Dat (of the Tran Dynasty), who had the merit of discovering and preserving the bird's nest islands in the Binh Khang sea region (today's bird's nest islands), and the sacrifice of Binh Khang Pacification Commissioner Le Van Quang and his daughter, Tay Son Naval Commander-in-Chief Le Thi Huyen Tram, on the 10th day of the 5th lunar month (in 1793) during the battle to protect the sovereignty of the bird's nest islands.

Speaking at the festival, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam emphasized that in the development journey of the locality, the bird's nest industry has always held a specially important position. The provincial leadership acknowledges, commends, and highly appreciates the tremendous contributions of the staff and employees of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company over the past 35 years.
On the development journey, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam requested the company to remain steadfast in its goal of "Conservation in tandem with development"; closely linking economic exploitation with the protection of the island sea ecological environment and promoting the value of the "National Intangible Cultural Heritage" that the unit has been honored with. On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company awarded certificates of merit to 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in the Khanh Hoa bird's nest industry in 2026; and presented commemorative gifts to representatives of the Le clan branches in Nha Trang Ward and Nam Nha Trang Ward, as well as the Association of Retired Employees of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company.
